F-Droid Privileged Extension OTA
Secure F-Droid app installation and updates.
Description
F-Droid needs root access to install its Privileged Extension as a system app. This extension allows F-Droid to manage apps securely. Benefits include less system storage use, survival through system updates, and safer root-based installations. Install via TWRP or similar recovery tools using the provided OTA update ZIP. Post-install, updates are handled by the standalone APK.
