For Android 4.0.3+, this app lets you set a stronger disk encryption password, separate from your screen lock. Avoid weak passwords or typing long ones every time. Uses standard VDC calls. Tested on Galaxy Nexus. Backup data first—forgotten passwords mean lost data forever. Root required.
